Before hiring a lawyer you may want to ask the following questions:

Has the lawyer and his law firm received the highest rating of competence and ethics as rated by his peers?
Do other lawyers; claims adjustors; and, doctors refer clients to the law firm? If so, why?
What are the lawyer’s qualifications and experience relevant to your case?
Has the lawyer handled a problem similar to yours? What was the result?
Will the lawyer personally work on your case? If not, who will be working on it, lawyers or legal assistants or both?
What are the lawyer’s fees, and when do they need to be paid?
What are the services that will be rendered for those fees?
Will my lawyer return my telephone calls and e-mail?
What other expenses are likely to be incurred, if any?
Will the lawyer help contact creditors to protect my credit and my family’s future?
Will my case go to trial, and if so, what results has the attorney had at trial?
Does my lawyer volunteer in the community to help make the lives of others better?
